What I Am Looking For
Salam Alaykum, I'm here looking for a serious relationship, marriage. I kindly wanted to add that I am not interested in a relationship before marriage. We can get to know each other in halal way. I'm looking for someone that is also here for the same purposes.
Please, if your main goal is not marriage, and/or if you don't want kids in the near future or at all, this is definitely a dealbreaker. Sorry, I didn't mean to be mean here, but I just wanted to make it clear on some points that are really important to me while looking for my life partner. Time is precious, and being clear enough can help save each other time.
To be honest, I don't know much what we can say about ourselves, but I'm just gonna try to say something if this can help in lifting the fact of being strange. As a child, I've always dreamed of going really far in education. But as Allah is the One who plans, we can only dream, I had to drop out after an associate degree.
Alhamdulillah, I see every aspect of my life as an achievement rather than a failure. Everything that could have seemed like a failure, I try to learn from it and even sometimes reach an achievement out of it. As an example, while not going to school, I used that time to acquire free knowledge from the internet that I would have paid thousands of dollars if I had to pay for it. I have learned how to build websites, blogs, online marketing, e-commerce, and many more skills.
This has allowed me to have an idea of what I want to do as a career, which I wasn't sure about when I was in school. Before I wanted to become a lawyer, which isn't bad at all. But I more enjoy what I am doing right now. Alhamdulillah, Allah has allowed me to go back to school and pursue my dreams, I'm right now in business school working towards a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration.
My career goals is that after graduation I get a job in human resources or a brand manager if Allah permits. But my biggest dream is to run my own business in the future InshAllah.
InshAllah, I'm hoping to have a husband that is a God fearer, prays Salah and willing to become a better Muslim. A good husband and good father to our children. Someone that is ambitious, and will also allow and support me in achieving my dreams. Someone who is goal oriented. Someone that together, we can grow not only in this Dunya, but also we will take each other to Jannah, Ameen.
